The entire cast of the stage production of "Mage Orphen: The Hagureta Journey" has been announced, and Shinya Matsumoto has been cast as the lead role of Orphen.

Since the first volume was published in 1994, various series have been released, and a total of more than 12 million copies of the light novel "Magician Orphen" by Sadanobu Akita have been sold.
The cast of the stage version of the light novel "Orphen the Magician" by Sadanobu Akita, which has sold more than 12 million copies, has finally been announced.

The series' 25th anniversary project, "Mage Orphen: The Hagureta Journey," will begin as a TV anime project in 2019! Shotaro Morikubo continues as the main character Orphen!

The stage version of "Mage Orphen" will be performed in August and November, and the cast for the August performance has now been announced.

Shinya Matsumoto of the theater company "Studio Life" has been chosen to play the lead role of Orphen. Matsumoto, who has been active in a variety of productions and boasts outstanding stability, including leading roles in "Studio Life" performances, has been selected and will play the lead role for the first time outside the company. The production will also feature Miho Amane as Creow, Nagato Okui as Majik, Mio Hanana as Azalee, and Justin Tomimori as Child Man, among other gorgeous faces.


Tickets will be available for pre-sale (by lottery) at Confetti from Monday, May 27, 2019, and will go on sale to the general public from Saturday, June 15, 2019, so don't forget to get yours.

<Synopsis
The "Fang Tower" is the highest mage training institute on the Kiesarhima continent.
Kirilanchero, a 15-year-old boy, has high hopes for his future as a black magician there.
However, the day his sister-in-law Azalee was transformed into a monster in the laboratory, Kiriranshero abandoned his name and future and became an orphan.

Five years later.
In Totokanta, a city in the southwestern part of the continent, Orphen runs a clandestine moneylending business. However, when he visits the Eberlastin family, a famous family, he happens to see an old sword and an oddly shaped monster.

It was the "she" who disappeared on that day five years ago.
