The first exhibition of "The Bride of the Fifth Class," for which a second TV anime season is also in production, will be held from August 17 (Sat) to September 1 (Sun), 2019, at Exhibition Hall A on the 4th floor of the Ikebukuro Sunshine City World Import Mart Building.

Bride of the Fifth Estate" is a popular comic series by Haruba Negi serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), which has sold more than 1.5 million copies (the latest volume 7 was released on December 17). The main character, a high school boy living in poverty, becomes a tutor for five sisters with rich personalities who are on the verge of flunking out of high school, and struggles to lead them to graduation.

Today, on the "Fifth Equal Bride Anniversary," it was announced that the first exhibition of "Fifth Equal Bride" will be held from August 17 (Sat.) to September 1 (Sun.), 2019, at Exhibition Hall A, 4F, Ikebukuro Sunshine City World Import Mart Building.


The concept of the exhibition is "an exhibition that both women and men can enjoy.


The "Bride of the Fifth Class," which depicts the daily lives of five sisters and their classmate Futaro Uesugi, is serialized in a men's comic magazine, but is popular among female readers.

With the broadcast of the anime starting in January 2019, the popularity of the manga among men and women has skyrocketed, and it is currently the most read work among romance manga serialized in men's comic magazines by women. The exhibition will be open to the public, and will feature "Haruba Negi-no-Negi's Manga", a manga about a woman in love with a man in a comic magazine.



In addition to the usual exhibits such as "hand-drawn illustrations by Negi Haruba," "rough illustrations before completion," and "completed manuscripts," the exhibition will also include a "reproduction of the rooms of the five sisters" and "costume display.
