The first free-of-charge broadcast of "Hizune and Masotan" is scheduled for June 1 (Sat.) at 8:00 p.m. on "AbemaTV"!

The TV anime "Himine to Masotan," which aired in April 2018, will be broadcast for the first time online for free on June 1, 2019 (Saturday) at 8 p.m. on "AbemaTV.

Higuchi Shinji, the general director of the blockbuster hit "Shin Godzilla," will direct "Himine to Masotan," which will be broadcast for free on AbemaTV for the first time on Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 8 p.m. on "Abema TV." (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai"), and Mari Okada (series composition). Directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi of "Kizunaiver," with original character design by Toshinao Aoki of "Kimi no Koe wo Todokeitai," character design by Yoshiyuki Ito of "Space☆Dandy," music by Taisei Iwasaki of "Bloodline," and animation production by Bones of the "Eureka seveN" series. A novel work story unfolds, depicting a heartwarming interaction between a dragon, which the Air Self-Defense Force manages by mimicking a fighter plane, and its rookie crew members, called dragon pilots (D-pirates). The story of the bond between the main character, Hizune Amakasu, a rookie member of the Air Self-Defense Force, Masotan, a dragon that mimics a fighter plane, and his fellow Self-Defense Force members has received high praise from anime fans, and in March 2019 won the Excellence Award in the Animation Division at the 22nd Japan Media Arts Festival.

The TV anime "Himine to Masotan," which aired in April 2018, will be broadcast for the first time on June 1, 2019 (Saturday), at 8 pm on AbemaTV, free of charge on the Internet.

The first free-to-air broadcast will start at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019, with episodes 1 through 6, followed by episodes 7 through 12 at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019.

＜Story＞
"I will fly Sora with you." Amakasu Hizune is a rookie who started working at Gifu Air Base of the Air Self-Defense Force. Tired of being too honest and unintentionally hurting others, she chose to become a limited-term Self Defense Force officer. However, a fateful encounter changes her life fundamentally. A dragon that mimics a fighter plane secreted at the base chose Hishine and soared high into the sky. Thus, Hizune's job became a flight crew member aboard the Dragon, an "OTF" (a metamorphic flying organism). What secrets are hidden in the dragon, which is said to influence the fate of the nation? ......
