The teams, play-by-play commentary, and sponsors for the official Japanese preliminary round of the eSports tournament "Predator League 2020" have been selected!

Acer Inc. announced the teams, play-by-play commentary, and sponsors for the official Japanese preliminary round of the "Predator League 2020" e-sports tournament.

The "Predator League" is an e-sports tournament in which representatives from each country and region of the Asia-Pacific region will participate. The representative teams that make it through the qualifying rounds will compete for the title of strongest in the Asia-Pacific at the Grand Final to be held in Manila, Philippines in February 2020. The game titles to be used for the Grand Final are "PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG)" and "DOTA 2". The total prize money for the national and regional qualifiers and finals is $400,000.

Contestant Teams Decided


In the Predator League 2020 Japan Round, the official Japanese qualifier, as many as 58 teams will compete for 24 team slots during Week 1 (November 30 and December 1, 2019). The only game title to be employed is "PUBG". In addition, a total of 32 teams will compete in Week 2 (December 7 and December 8), including the eight teams ranked overall in PJS Season 4 Grade 1.

The top 8 teams in the overall rankings of "PUBGJAPANSERIES (PJS)" season4Phase1 and Phase2 will participate from Saturday, December 7 as seeded teams.
In the event that a team abandons the competition, it will be moved up from the lower-ranked teams.
The winner and runner-up teams will participate in the "PredatorLeague 2020" scheduled to be held in Manila, Philippines in February 2020.
