The "Raging Season Maidens!" is based on the manga of the same title serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (Kodansha). Mari Okada, an active anime scriptwriter, will write the original story, and Nao Emoto of "Soredemo Boku Kimi ga Suki" (I Still Love You) will write the manga. It is a coming-of-age drama about high school girls who belong to a literary club, and depicts the growth of these girls as they are swept away by their "sexuality.
