Square Enix Announces "Engage Souls," the Latest Smartphone Game! RPG that aims for victory through "e-janken" (rock-paper-scissors-paper)

Square Enix, Inc. today announced "Engage Souls," a new smartphone app for Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

Engage Souls" features boys and girls fascinated by "engage," a competition played by teams of five players. The game is an RPG that depicts the boys and girls growing up together with their schoolmates and rivals, aiming to become professional "contractors" of "engage".

Play Screen Introduction

Choose a training menu and develop your character into a player of your liking. Various scenario events are said to occur when practicing with friends.

The players are challenged to a new competition, "Engage," in which they aim to win. In this competition, "Janken" (rock-paper-scissors-scissors) is said to be the key to victory.

To celebrate the announcement, the official Twitter account is currently running a campaign in which 10 people will be selected in a drawing to win an Amazon gift certificate worth 3,000 yen. The campaign is currently underway.
