PS4 "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" to be released on October 25! Public Trailer Released & Pre-orders Started!

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SEE) announced that "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" for PS4 will be released on Friday, October 25.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" is the latest title in the "Call of Duty" series developed by Infinity ward. Players will take on the role of elite "Tier 1 operators" in a tense war situation that will affect forces all over the world.

The release date for this title has been set for October 25 (Friday)!　Pre-ordering of the game began today, May 31 (Fri.), and the latest trailer has also been released, so don't miss it!

The All-New Modern Warfare
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare features a state-of-the-art engine that delivers photorealistic visuals and a realistic gaming experience. This includes a physics-based materials system that enables state-of-the-art photogrammetry, a new hybrid tile-based streaming system, a new PBR decal rendering system, world-class volumetric lighting technology, 4K HDR, and all the latest visual engineering techniques. It also features a new GPU geometry pipeline. Spectral rendering makes thermal radiation and infrared identification available for both in-game thermal detection and night vision video. In addition, a number of technological investments have led to the introduction of a state-of-the-art animation system and blendshape system in the film.

Pre-orders for the downloadable version of the game are now available on the PlayStation Store!
Starting today, Friday, May 31, 2019, the PlayStation Store will be offering Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Operator Edition with even more premium digital items and Operator Edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Operator Edition, which includes premium digital items and an additional 3,000 Call of Duty points, will be available for pre-order. Both pre-orders will include pre-order bonuses and a PS4 theme. The "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Blu-ray Disc edition will be available for pre-order at retailers nationwide and on various e-commerce sites from today onward. Early purchase specials will be included with the Blu-ray Disc version of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
