■Mr. Shoji Kawamori

The exhibition includes various views of the world I have worked in for 40 years, the dome theater that I have always wanted, story notes, rough designs, storyboards, and photographs that have inspired me from childhood to the present day. I believe that about half of the materials in this exhibition have never been shown to the public before. Looking back on 40 years of work, I realize once again how far I have come with the support of so many fans, and I cannot thank the many staff members involved enough. I hope that this Expo will be an encouragement to those who are working in the field of monodzukuri, and that they will not be discouraged by the slightest loss of their work.
You cannot create a work by yourself. It is a collective creation. We have organized this "EXPO" as a festival in which fans can also participate.

■Support Ambassador Takanori Nishikawa
I think it is a rare opportunity to be able to experience Kawamori's worldview, which has produced numerous works in its 40-year history and continues to thrill us today. We look forward to seeing you there!

Takuatsu Terashima
I have had many opportunities to talk with Mr. Kawamori, and I have made many discoveries, including materials I had never seen before! Mr. Kawamori is a man of broad insight and curiosity. I could understand what kind of things he has seen and what kind of life journey he has been on. The exhibition is filled with Macross and other past works, as well as many other fascinating things that I am sure you have never seen before. I am sure you will enjoy this exhibition, so please come and visit!

Comment from Hiroki Kaji
When I met Terashima-kun for the first time, I never thought that a few years later I would have the same opportunity to be a part of the same "Aquarion" production and have such a wonderful opportunity. Seeing the exhibition brought back memories of that time! And I was reminded once again that there are so many lovable characters in Kawamori's works. At the K-40 Dome Theater, I felt as if I had entered the world of the anime! Mr. Kawamori has a passionate pioneering spirit. I have the image of Mr. Kawamori always taking on new challenges. This EXPO will definitely be enjoyed by all kinds of Shoji Kawamori fans!
