Includes mini-game Hanafuda and main character support features! PS4 "New Sakura Wars" game new information released!

Sega Games, Inc. has released new information about the "New Sakura Wars" action adventure for PlayStation 4, scheduled for release on December 12, 2019, including the "World Koi Koi Wars" mini-game and support features.

New Sakura Wars" is a dramatic 3D action adventure set in the fictional "Taisho Era" imperial capital of Tokyo, and follows the exploits of the "Teikoku Kagekidan" as they fight against evil. The main character design is by Kubo Taito, known as the creator of the manga "BLEACH" serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha). The music is by Kouhei Tanaka, who has provided many songs for previous titles in the series. The story will be composed by Ishiijiro, who is active in a variety of media including games, TV animation, and movies.

Collecting Bromides

One of the new information released this time is the "Bromide Collection. Bromides" show various aspects of the characters. You can collect them from stores or by picking them up from various places on the map. Try to collect them all and become a Bromide Master.

Ikusa-chan

After some progress in the game, the battle simulator "Iksa-chan" becomes available in the underground hangar. In Ikusa-chan, you can replay the battle part of the story you have cleared, and also challenge missions with different characters to go out. By completing missions, special bromides can also be obtained.

Sumatron.

An item that supports the actions of the new protagonist, " Kamiyama Seijuro," in the adventure part of the game will appear. The name of the item is "Smaratron".

■Map Support
The map function is used especially in the adventure part. When Kamiyama moves around, it is displayed as a mini-map in the lower right corner of the screen. By opening the Sumatron, it is possible to see whose events will occur in each area.

■Activity Record Support
Activity records can be checked using Sumatron. In the activity log, information on main quests and sub-quests completed so far can be viewed, and there is also a function to replay movie scenes.

■Photo Book Support
Bromides collected in the game can be displayed on the Sumatron and viewed at your leisure.

■Incoming call function
While playing the adventure part of the game, you can receive communications from the characters via Sumatron. There are tense incoming calls, such as the appearance of a falling demon.

Mini-game Koi Koi (Hanafuda)

In addition, this title allows players to enjoy the mini-game "Koi Koi" (Hanafuda). Depending on the progress of the game, you may receive challenges from your opponents.
