Spike Chunsoft has released information on the "investigation part" that forms the basis of the game's progression from "AI: Somnium File" for PS4/Switch/PC (Steam), scheduled for release on Thursday, September 19.

AI: Somnium File" is a full-fledged mystery adventure game about a detective pursuing a serial murder case in modern-day Tokyo, a title presented as "PROJECT: psync" at the Game Developers Conference in March 2017, The game is a hot topic, with game direction and scenario writing by Kotaro Uchikoshi and lead character designer Yusuke Kozaki.

In "AI: Somnium File," players take on the role of a detective in the Metropolitan Police Department's special unit, investigating a series of bizarre murders.
