The ED theme of the winter anime "pet", which will air from January, will be "image _____" by "Daze SIREN"! The latest PV with the ED music is also released.

The TV anime "pet" is scheduled to air from January 2020. Following the already announced OP theme, "Butterfly Flying Tank" by TK from Rin to Shigure, it was announced today, December 2, 2019, that the ED theme will be "image _____". The song's lyrics were written by Daze Siren (めまいSIREN). Total production was done by TK (Rin to Shigure).

The TV anime "pet" is based on the manga "Pet Remastered Edition" by Ranjo Miyake, which depicts the harsh fate of boys called "pets" that have the ability to sneak into people's brains and manipulate their memories.

The film is directed by Takahiro Omori, who has been eagerly awaiting its visualization for more than 10 years since he first encountered the manga. The series composition is by Sadayuki Murai, who worked with Omori on "Natsume's Book of Friends. Animation production will be handled by Geno Studio, which has produced notable works such as "Slaughterhouse Organ" and "KOKOKOKU".

The ED theme for the film has recently been announced.Dazed SIREN, who wrote the lyrics for the ED theme "image _____", is a Japanese five-piece rock band.The band made their independent debut in 2015 before moving to Sony Music Records in 2019. Their first single "Yuzutari" was previously used as the ending song for the 2019 winter anime "Karakuri Circus".

There are many aspects of the work "pet" that we can relate to, and we wanted to create a song that would help us to understand the "yama" and "tani" of the human heart, and whether the scenery we are seeing now is real or not. We hope that the music produced by TK has given us the opportunity to express ourselves with more power than ever before. However, is this reality in which I am writing this really a true memory? Or has it been rewritten? Does this music really exist in the first place?
