Godzilla King of Monsters", the latest in the Hollywood version of the Godzilla series, unveils new scene photos!

To celebrate the worldwide blockbuster success of "Godzilla King of Monsters," the latest in the world-anticipated Hollywood version of the "Godzilla" series, new scene photos have been released.

Godzilla, a national icon, was "born" in Japan in 1954, and more than 30 Godzilla movies have been produced to date, with the total number of moviegoers exceeding 100 million in Japan alone. Godzilla, the one and only character that Japan can boast to the world, will celebrate its 65th anniversary this year in 2022.
In 2014, the Hollywood version of "GODZILLA GODZILLA" made its "return" after a 10-year absence. The Hollywood version of "GODZILLA GODZILLA" was a smash hit, opening at number one worldwide, grossing 3.2 billion yen in Japan and 53 billion yen worldwide.

The cast includes Ken Watanabe, who played Dr. Inoshiro Serizawa in the previous film "GODZILLA Godzilla," Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, and other talented actors, as well as Millie Bobby Brown, who made her screen debut in the popular drama "Stranger Things," and the well-known Japanese actress, Kayla Kurokawa, who made her debut in this film. The film was also released simultaneously in 75 foreign countries and regions*Note, and has been an explosive hit in each country.

In addition to North America, the film also ranked first at the weekend box office in China, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Malaysia, and other countries, with preliminary worldwide box office figures of $179.0M (approx. 19.36 billion yen), making it the number one movie in the world by far. Godzilla has taken the world by storm.

In Japan, Godzilla also recorded 641,773 admissions and 918,860,100 yen in box-office revenue over the three-day opening weekend from May 31 to June 2, and was ranked first in the weekend movie attendance rankings (according to Kogyo Tsushinsha). It is the biggest box-office hit among all Godzilla series including "Shin Godzilla" (since 2000 when the box-office figures were first announced).
The film received a 93.2% satisfaction rating in an opening-day theater survey (a web-based survey using PCs and cell phones) and was ranked No. 1 in the Pia First-Day Movie Satisfaction Survey (Pia survey on June 1), indicating that the film is extremely satisfying.
