Completely new OVA "Mob Psycho 100: The First Comfort Trip to the Spirit and Counseling Center - A Healing Journey to Fulfill Kokoro" and a release commemorative event will be held!

The key visual, product information, and release commemorative event information for the new OVA have been announced.

The comic "Mob Psycho 100" serialized on the comic app "Manga One" by ONE, known for his "One Pan Man" series, will be adapted into a TV anime. The first season aired in summer 2016 and the second in winter 2019. It was also highly acclaimed for its powerful battle scenes and experimental direction, and was selected as a Jury Recommended Work in the Animation Division of the 20th Japan Media Arts Festival. It also won fifth place in the Tokyo Anime Awards Festival 2017 Anime Fan Awards (selected from among 550 works broadcast and screened in 2016), which are voted on by anime fans.

The production of this completely new OVA was announced immediately after the final episode of "Mob Psycho 100 II" aired, and now its key visual, product information, and release commemorative event information have been unveiled.

The title of the new OVA is "Mob Psycho 100: The First Comfort Trip to the Spirits and Counseling Center - A Journey of Healing that Fills the Heart"! The key visual is a dusty winter visual like a commemorative photo showing Mob, Reigen, Ekubo, Ritsu, Tell, and Serizawa with a hot spring ryokan, the setting of the story, in the background.

Synopsis.
The group of "Reito toka Sodansho" including Mob, Reigen, Ekubo, and new member Serizawa heads for a hidden hot spring, Ibogami Onsen, located deep in the mountains of Shimoma Prefecture. Reigen was asked by the proprietress of a ryokan (Japanese inn) here to "clarify the eerie rumors surrounding the hot spring and save the ryokan. In response to this request, the group of six, including Ritsu and Teru, set out on a two-day-and-one-night comfort trip. On the way there, however, Reigen and Serizawa doze off on the train and are trapped in an eerie other world. ......

This is the first time that the story of the new members of the "Rei-Taka Counseling Center," including Serizawa, is depicted in an animated film.

The Blu-ray & DVD release date is Wednesday, September 25, 2019. The first edition will include a Moterail key holder and a newly recorded bonus drama CD.

On the day of release, a commemorative event will be held to celebrate the release of the OVA with Setsuo Ito, who plays the main character Mobu, and to watch the full-length OVA together! We hope you will come and check out the original story that will not be aired on TV.
