It has been announced that the TV anime adaptation of "Hon-kiha no Gekkoukoujo: I Can't Choose the Means to Become a Librarian" will begin airing in October 2019. In addition, additional cast members have been announced and cast comments have been released.

The novel "Honkaku no Gekkoukoujou: To Become a Librarian, You Can't Choose Your Means" is a novel by Miya Kouzuki, currently being published by TO Books. The series has sold more than 1 million copies and was named "This light novel is amazing!" (Takarajimasya, Inc.) No. 1 in 2018 and 2019 for two consecutive years (in the book and novels category). A college girl who died just before becoming a librarian wakes up as Mine, a soldier's daughter, in a medieval European-style other world. She wants to read books, but they are a luxury that the average person cannot afford. If you don't have books, make your own! She struggles with an environment that does not go her way, but decides to make use of her knowledge from a previous life to create a "book" with her own hands and presses forward toward her dream. It is a Biblia fantasy for book lovers, dedicated to book lovers.
The TV anime adaptation will be directed by Mitsuru Hongo, with Yoshiki Kawasaki as assistant director, Mariko Kunisawa as series composition, Yoshiaki Yanagida and Toshihisa Kaitani as character designers, and Ajido in charge of animation production.

It has been announced that the TV anime adaptation of "Honshuushoku no Gekkoukoujo: Shoukou Shoujou ni Naru ni Tsuiteiru Koushikara" will begin airing in October 2019, and additional cast members have also been announced.

Mine's sister, Tuli, will be played by Ai Nakajima, her mother, Eefa, by Fumiko Orikasa, her father, Günther, by Takeshi Koyama, and Mutsushin Tamura will play Mine's childhood friend, Lutz.

Music information was also announced. The music will be composed by Michiru. The OP theme will be "pure white" sung by Sumire Moroboshi, and the ED theme will be "Kiaoshiku no tenshi" sung by Ai Nakashima.

<Introduction
