Hoshiai no Sora" is a new TV anime directed by Kazuki Akane, the creator of "Code Geass: Akito the Exiled", "Escaflowne in the Sky", and many other masterpieces of original anime. Hiiragi Hiiragi, captain of the nearly defunct men's soft tennis club, invites Katsuragi Mami, who has just transferred to his new school, to join the club... The story depicts boys with various feelings and worries through soft tennis. The character draft is by Itsuka and the animation production is by Eight Bit.

It was announced that the opening theme song will be sung by Ai Nakajima. The title is "Aquarium. The lyrics are written by Seiichi Shindo, composed by Kana Yabuki, and arranged by Toomiyo.
The song will be released in the same time as the main story.
