Popularity Poll for Hamari-role Characters", the results of which we present to you here.
November 11th is Mikako Komatsu's birthday, a.k.a. Mikako Mikako! In commemoration of her birthday, we have started the "Popularity Poll on Mikako Komatsu's Hammer Role"! A "Popularity Poll for Hamamari Role Characters" has started!

Since her debut as a voice actress in 2010, Mikako Komatsu has gained popularity playing a variety of characters. She is one of the talented voice actresses whose range of acting has been expanding rapidly as she approaches her 10th anniversary as a voice actress, from boyish characters to chic older ladies and life-size girl characters.

Of the 57 main characters played by Ms. Komatsu, a.k.a. "Mikakoshi," 57 were entered in the contest. Let's take a look at the results and see which character came out on top.

No. 1 Shiina ( Kosaburo Graffiti ): 4547 votes

No. 2 Roo ( Nyanko Days ): 4384 votes

No. 3 Utana Otowa ( Classicaloid ) 534 votes

No.4 Rin ( Chemulixa ) 469 votes

No.5 Marika Kato ( Moretsu Space Pirates ) 442 votes

No. 6 Ayaka Totsuka ( Ore no Seishun Love Comedy ga Mawaratta desu ) 364 votes

No. 7 Trush Seijiro ( Nisekoi ) 250 votes

No.8 Mimi Shiotome ( Nagi no Asukara ) 238 votes

No. 9 Madoka Kakuya / Cure Selene ( Star Twinkle Pretty Cure ) 217 votes

No. 10 Iori Sei ( Gundam Build Fighters ) 209 votes

The voting project for this year's contest, which garnered 13477 votes, was a close race with Shiina of "Sachi Belly Graffiti" (No. 1) and Ro of "Nyanko Days" (No. 2), who fought for the top spot, collecting more than half of the votes.

The first-place winner, Shiina, appears to be a cool young lady, but in fact she is a mysterious girl with a frail constitution. She was a charming character, including the trio of the main character, Ryo, and Kirin, and her mother, who is extremely cute, as well as her interactions with the other characters around her.

Roh of "Nyanko Days" (No. 2) is another kitten with a cool and calm impression. While he is usually a quiet reader, he occasionally awakens his feline side, and the gap between the two is irresistibly cute! In both cases, the difference between the calm atmosphere of the cat's everyday life and its true facial expression gave depth to the characters. Ms. Komatsu, who can play that part so attractively, is really the best!

In that sense, Rin of "Kemurikusa" (No. 4) was also very cute in the gap between her cool older sister character who can do anything at first glance and her dereliction toward Wakaba, and Seijiro of "Nisekoi" Thrush is a shy and whiny girl (and actually glamorous! ) ).

Ms. Komatsu has an impressive low, natural voice, but I think it is her outstanding ability to express the "girlishness" that oozes out of it that makes her so appealing. These characters are a perfect example of her "girlishness".

In addition, Ms. Komatsu is also capable of playing life-size, unpretentious girls.

Characters such as Marika Kato in "Moretsu Uchu Kaizoku" (No. 5), her first work starring a heroine, and Utana Otowa in "Classicaloid" (No. 3) are just such characters. Rather than creating a cute voice, they make the voice of an "ordinary girl" sound cute with detailed nuance and acting. It is in these characters that we can enjoy her acting ability.

And speaking of Ms. Komatsu, her boy characters are also indispensable! She made her voice acting debut as Joseph Carter Jones, the main character in No. 40 "HEROMAN," and has consistently played boy characters ever since.

Iori Sei of No. 10 "Gundam Build Fighters" is a typical example. Her performance as a young boy who is passionate about Gunpla and the passionate battles he engages in is still fresh in our minds, and she has successfully opened up the "Build" series.

The odd one out was Ayaka Totsuka, who came in at No. 6 for her role in "My Seishun Love Comedy is Wrong After All." Ayaka Totsuka. At first glance, she appears to be a pretty girl, but in fact she is a boy. However, she is a rather sinful character whose girlish expression often makes even the main character, Hachiman, nervous ....... He wants to be a manly man, but his sense of style is more like a maiden's. This is another character with a lot of potential. In a sense, this character is also a "gap moe" character.

In "Nagi no Asukara" (No. 8), she played a pretty girl who is approaching adolescence, and she played her role with great subtlety as she worries about her relationships with others and is concerned about her surroundings. In "Star Twinkle Pretty Cure", she plays Madoka Kakuya/Cure Selene, a character who has grown from a young lady with many experiences to an adult who is able to express her opinions to her family, and who also has a complex backbone and growth.

Mikako Komatsu's acting is backed up by her strong expressive power, which is her weapon to bring out the charm of the characters and boost their appeal. For the detailed results of the poll, please click the link below.

Finally, we would like to wish Mikako Komatsu a very happy birthday!
