-Already half a year has passed since the exceptional pre-countdown live "The Moon and the Time Machine. I think it is quite unusual to have a live concert "recording" the year-end and New Year's countdown.

Kasahara That's right (laughs).

--Looking back again, the set list for "The Moon and the Time Machine" was also very well received.

Kasahara Thank you very much. The songs that Hiroko Kasahara was involved with in her animated films, which have been buried in the back of her memory, were suggested by Junichi Saito, the banmouth player of the backing band, Eitels☆Special, who said, "How about this song? I really appreciate it. The countdown live concert was a long-held wish of mine, and I hope to be able to do it again this year.

--I hope we will be able to do it again this year.

Kasahara The title of the concert is "Kaze wa Mirai kara kuru Kuru (Wind Blows from the Future)," and the keyword "Kaze" is ......, so it will be a live concert that was meant to come. It will be a live concert where we will be able to show you some of our old songs.

--I am sure that the past year has been unusually busy for Mr. Kasahara. You have been on a bus tour, appeared as a secret guest for "Macross Crossover Live" at "Super Robot Soul 2019 "Spring Battle"" and "Seiyu Kohaku Uta Gassen", and have also held live shows as an individual.

Kasahara I really appreciate it. The reason why I have been able to do what I am doing now on my own is because the "Ohanashika." Strangely enough, when I start moving, things start moving. Thankfully, there are many words that have pushed me forward. When I told Ichiro Mizuki at the launch of "Super Robot Soul," "It's a little late, but I'm thinking of organizing my own project and doing live performances," he said, "It's not too late," which was very powerful. Mr. Saito also told me, "If you ever decide to do it, please let me help you.

I am really grateful that I had the courage to start .......

For this June concert, there is a song I want to sing because it is this year. You will find out why on the day of the concert (laughs).

-I think the fans will be happy to see Kasahara-san in some form every month. It has been a while since you started performing live regularly every year, but do you feel that it has already become a part of your life?

Kasahara Yes, it has become a part of my life. I am always full of ideas for what I want to do at the next live show, and even in my daily life, when I suddenly think of something I want to do at a live show, I try to take a note of it. I never thought that I would be able to enjoy doing live performances as much as I do. That is thanks to the fans who always look forward to seeing me. I really appreciate it.

--By the way, the year changed from Heisei to 2019 on May 1. What were you doing at the moment of the changeover?

Kasahara I was on my way to a meeting for a bus tour (laughs).

(laughs) -- Did you set any goals?

Kasahara I am going to visit Ise Shrine with the participants of the bus tour in July this year, so I would like to tell God how I feel a little bit there.
