Card Captor Sakura" is a popular manga serialized in "Nakayoshi" (Kodansha) from 1996 to 2000 by CLAMP, a hit maker of "Magic Knight Rayearth" and "XXXHOLiC" etc. When the TV anime was broadcast on NHK in 1998, its popularity accelerated even further. The popularity of the comic accelerated and became a huge boom that transcended gender and generation. In 2016, the 20th anniversary of the serialization, a new sequel, "Card Captor Sakura: Clear Card Arc," began serialization, and an anime version was broadcast on NHK BS Premium from January 2018.
