Space Invaders Invincible Collection (tentative title), a port of the series' flagship title, will be released on Switch!

Taito announced that "Space Invaders Invincible Collection (tentative title)," a port of the flagship "Space Invaders" series, will be released on Nintendo Switch in 2020.

Space Invaders" is a shooting game developed by Taito as an arcade game in 1978. The game's innovative "two-sided attack" gameplay attracted many players and triggered the "Invader Boom". Since then, many games in the series have been released in arcades and home video games, and have been ported to various hardware platforms, with 2018 marking the 40th anniversary of the series.
