Hypnosis Mike" TV Anime Adaptation Decided! Anime "Hypnosis Mike -Division Rap Battle-" Rhyme Anima to air in 2020

On December 4, 2019, it was announced that "Hypnosis Mike," a character rap project based on music, will be adapted into an anime in 2020.

Launched in September 2017, "Hypnosis Mike" is the first rap-themed CD project in the history of voice acting. The 18 male voice actors participating in the project are: Subaru Kimura, Haruki Ishitani, Kohei Amasaki, Shintaro Asanuma, Shinichiro Kamio, Wataru Komada, Kou Hayami, Ryuichi Kijima, Kento Ito, Yusuke Shirai, Souma Saito, Yukihiro Notsuyama, Ryota Iwasaki, Kengo Kawanishi, Takaya Kuroda, Shota Hayama, Yuki Sakakibara, Eiji Takeuchi Each of the 18 male voice actors will be dressed up as a character and rap in the film. Character designs are by IDEA FACTORY and Otomate.

The 18 characters are divided into 6 divisions (teams): Ikebukuro, Yokohama, Shinjyuku, Shibuya, Osaka, and Nagoya, with 3 members per team.

The unique characters who sing the songs are currently gaining popularity among young people, and the group is currently expanding into various media mixes, such as comic book adaptations, application games, and stage adaptations.

Hypnosis Mike's next new project is an animation. The title of the anime is "Hypnosis Mike -Division Rap Battle-" Rhyme Anima.
