Starring Masaki Okada and Tasuku Haraichi Sawabe! Three new TV commercials for "Pokémon Sword Shield" will begin airing sequentially on December 7.

New TV commercials for the "Pokémon Sword" and "Pokémon Shield" games for the Nintendo DS currently on public release, "Passing Each Other" and "Christmas Persuasion" will air from December 7, 2019 (Saturday), and "True Feelings" from January 4, 2020 (Saturday), respectively.

The commercial comically depicts Masaki Okada and Tasuku Haraichi Sawabe, who play elementary school students, appealing the "new appeal" and "unchanged fun" of "Pokémon Sword Shield" in various scenes at school, on trains, and in game stores.

Passing Each Other" (15 seconds)
After school, Okada and Sawabe are running along the school corridor. Okada enthusiastically tells Sawabe about the fascinating battle scenes and evolution of the latest "Pokémon Sword Shield," but Sawabe recalls game screens from the past "Pokémon" series, so the two boys are at odds with each other. When Sawabe commented, "It hasn't changed," Okada replied, "It's changed! Okada boy says, "I've changed!

Christmas Persuasion" (15 seconds)
Sawabe boy tries to persuade his mother to buy him a copy of "Pokémon Sword Shield" at a video game store. Okada advises Sawabe to be a coach. "Appeal to her emotions! Show them what they're paying for! Show some seasonality!" Okada gives him childish advice such as, "Appeal to his feelings more," "Show the proper price," and "Seasonality!

True Feelings" (15 seconds)
Okada and Sawabe sit side by side on a train playing "Pokémon Sword Shield. A male office worker sitting next to them looks at their Nintendo Switch with interest. Okada and Sawabe, as if they had seen through the true feelings of the office worker who actually wants to play the game, nonchalantly speak on his behalf. In the end, the office worker buys "Pokémon Sword Shield" at an electronics retail store after receiving a gentle nudge from Okada saying, "Pokémon is waiting for you just the same.
