The original soundtrack of the NES game "MOTHER" will be released as the first Japanese analog record on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its release. The price is 5,000 yen (excluding tax).

MOTHER" is an RPG for the Family Computer released by Nintendo in 1989, and is also known for copywriter Shigesato Itoi's work on the game's design, which was featured in a TV commercial at the time with the catch copy "Don't cry until the ending. The game was a hit with its catch copy, "Don't cry until the ending. The game is about a boy living in a fictional American town who sets out on an adventure with his friends to discover the cause of various strange phenomena that occur in the town.

The original soundtrack was created in 1989 by Keiichi Suzuki of Moonriders, who created the game's background music, and used foreign singers in the UK. The songs are mainly vocal arrangements, and two of the 11 songs are instrumental arrangements.
