Infinite Dendrogram" was first published by Sakon Kaimichi on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-kaero-narou" and won first place in the site's annual VR game category ranking in 2016. It was also ranked No. 1 in the "New Ranobe General Election 2017" and No. 2 in the "This Ranobe is Awesome 2018" list. The series has sold more than 440,000 copies.
This fantasy work is set in the "Infinite Dendrogram," a dive-type VRMMO equipped with the "Embryo" system, in which players' abilities evolve uniquely according to their actions, personalities, and play styles, and "Tian," an NPC that can be mistaken for a person. Four cast members, Souma Saito (Rei), Yuzuko Ono (Nemesis), Yuki Takada (Babylon), and Yui Ogura (Kyuko), as well as Shiori Izawa as MC, took the stage.
