Season One update, seasonal content for PS4's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, begins today!

Season One, the seasonal content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Infinity Ward), currently available for PS4, began today, Wednesday, December 4, 2019.



The first game in the "Call of Duty" series was released in 2003 on PS3, Xbox, and PC. Many sequels followed, and when "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" ("CoD4") was released in 2007, it skyrocketed in popularity and has become one of the most popular titles in the world. This title is based on the theme of rebooting CoD4. Players will travel the world's battlefields in Modern Warfare, taking on the roles of Tier 1 operators, Arab soldiers, and others.



Due to the developer's policy, all content for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" (CoD:MW) is free. Therefore, this "Season One" is available to everyone. The volume is full of new maps, rules and weapons for multiplayer, as well as additional missions for special ops.

<Multiplayer
CRASH:
One of the most iconic maps in Call of Duty: 4 Modern Warfare. The rooftops, which are useful for detours and maneuvering, also look the same as they did in the past.
VACANT:
An abandoned building that also appeared in Call of Duty: 4 Modern Warfare. Tense indoor battles are inevitable among the rows of buildings.

A container ship with an open-roof structure anchored at a London dock.
ATRIUM:
The main area of Verdansk Palace. The main area of Verdansk Palace, which still remains intact despite the violent armed clashes in the area.

Also featured in Call of Duty: 4 Modern Warfare. It is no exaggeration to say that speedy movement is essential to seize the initiative.

New Modes

<Multiplayer
REINFORCE:
A one-life game mode combining "DOMINATION" and "SEARCH & DESTROY" in which both teams battle for control of three flags.
INFECTED:
Hunt or be hunted. A survival party game.
＜GUNFIGHT
ON SITE PROCUREMENT:
A highly strategic 2v2 mode with a twist. At first, it's just fists. As the battle progresses, you will be able to fight with new equipment.
＜OTHER.
More modes will be added over the course of Season One.

■Special Ops

∙ BOMB SQUAD:
Those who are still loyal to Barkov have planted explosives around the city of Al-Rab. The mission is to break up this situation.
...GROUNDED:
The mission is to engage and eliminate the enemies who have taken over Barkhov's former airbase.
PITCH BLACK:
Infiltrate the former private property of Barkov and gather all necessary information. Escape in a military rover to complete the mission.
JUST REWARD:
Hack into the enemy's financial base and hack into their data center to obtain information.

More special ops content will be added during Season One.

Free content accessible through the Battle Pass

This title introduces the new Battle Pass system. The Battle Pass system allows all players to unlock and obtain items based on their progress in the game. This system allows players to acquire a variety of items, including items that allow them to customize their appearance and the following newly introduced weapons.

RAM-7:
Fully automatic bullpup assault rifle with Picatinny rails at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock.
HOLGER-26:
HOLGER-26: A HOLGER model rifle with light machine gun-like firepower. It is equipped with a sight rail and a drum magazine for expanding the number of rounds.

Call of Duty points (CP)

CP is an in-game currency that can be used to acquire in-game content in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, including Battle Pass bundles. CP can be used in game modes such as Multiplayer and Special Ops.

Battle Pass and Battle Pass Bundle.

Season 1 Battle Pass or Season 1 Battle Pass Bundle can be purchased with CP to unlock up to 100 tiers containing featured items and accessories for use in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Players who purchase the Battle Pass Bundle will gain access to the Battle Pass and unlock 20 tiers of content immediately.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Pass Edition

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Operator Revision has been renamed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Pass Edition, effective today. The selling price has been changed. The content is the same, but this product does not include the "Battle Pass". To activate the "Battle Pass," players must purchase the Season 1 Battle Pass or Season 1 Battle Pass Bundle from within the game for the included 3,000 CP.
