The latest "ONE PIECE" movie, "ONE PIECE STAMPEDE," which will be released on August 9 (Fri.), has released a setting drawing by Eiichiro Oda, the original creator of the movie.

The popular comic "ONE PIECE" has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump for 21 years. The comics hold the Guinness World Record as the "Most Published Comic Series by a Single Artist," with more than 440 million copies in circulation worldwide (as of July 2018). Its popularity is not limited to Japan, but transcends national borders, attracting support from a wide range of people. The TV anime began broadcasting in 1999, and the first film version was released in 2000. So far, 13 film versions have been released and the total box-office revenue of the series has reached 30 billion yen, which has excited a large number of fans.
In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the anime broadcast, "ONE PIECE STAMPEDE," the first theatrical version in three years, will be released on August 9, 2019 (Friday).

In today's issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, the latest "ONE PIECE" movie, "ONE PIECE STAMPEDE," which will be released on August 9 (Fri.), has released a setting drawing drawn by the original author, Eiichiro Oda.

T he picture released this time is a visual of "Douglas Barrett," the strongest enemy appearing in "ONE PIECE STAMPEDE," as a young man and when he uses his "Gashagasha no Mi" (Gashagasha Fruit) ability.
Barrett has the ability to combine and transform everything around him, including weapons. In the new image, the original Barrett has an unimaginable appearance.

In addition, he also possesses the "High Power of the Supreme Colors," and his power is close to that of the Pirate King...?　Even with seven all-star members, including Luffy, Law, Baggy, Hancock, Smoker, Sabo, and Lucci, defeating this man is not a simple matter...the visuals show just how strong he is.

＜STORY
The world's largest festival of pirates, by pirates, for pirates. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat crew receive an invitation from Buena Festa, the organizer of the Expo, called "Matsuriya. When they arrive at the venue, they find that the pavilions are filled with pirates, including those of the worst generation, and the place is filled with excitement.
The centerpiece of the Expo is a "treasure hunt left by the Pirate King (Roger). The pirates who wanted to make a name for themselves by acquiring the treasure started a battle for the treasure! However, behind the pirates' feverish excitement at the Expo, Festa, also known as "the worst war-monger," has been waging a deadly campaign, and even the Navy has begun to move in to round up the pirates...
