TAAF2020 announces the results of its poll of the 100 most popular animated films of 2019.

The Tokyo Anime Awards Festival Executive Committee and the Motion Picture Association of Japan, Inc. have announced the final results of the "Everyone's Choice 100 Best Animation of the Year" for the international animation film festival "Tokyo Anime Awards Festival 2020 (TAAF2020)" to be held in March 2020. TAAF2020 is an international animation film festival that will be held in March 2020.

This is a project in which fans will vote for the top 100 works (80 TV works and 20 theatrical films, for a total of 100 works) from the 439 works screened or broadcast in the fiscal year 2019 (October 14, 2018 - September 30, 2019). Voting was held from November 1 (Friday) to December 6 (Monday), 2019.

The total number of votes gathered was 273,969. The votes were cast once per person during the voting period for up to three works in each of the TV and movie categories, based on criteria such as "favorite work," "work that I enjoyed," and "work that I would recommend to others. The final results were released today, December 5, 2019. The following are the films that were selected as the best 100 as a result of the voting.
