─ How did you feel when you were chosen to play the role of "Tomohito Akai"?

I was very happy. I have been reading works by Mitsuru Adachi since I was a child, so I was personally very excited to be able to act in a baseball-themed work.

─ About your role in the film
Akai's usual bluntness is the foundation of his character, but at the same time, it reveals his elusive inner feelings, so I look forward to walking with him in the future.

─ ─ Do you have any thoughts on "MIX"? (Favorite scene or character, scene you are looking forward to performing, etc.)

I have been interested in this work since the serialization started, so of course I read it.
However, I didn't think I would be involved in it, so this situation now seems like a reward for my love of manga.
So I am even more enthusiastic about facing him.

───If you have any thoughts on Mitsuru Adachi's works, please let us know.
I was fascinated by his work when I saw H2. Also, I had seen Touch in a rerun and thought, "He's the same author! So I read Touch. Personally, baseball stories by Mitsuru Adachi particularly appeal to me, and there was a time when I cried while reading the book of Cross Game on the move.

───Message to fans and your enthusiasm for acting in the future
I am very happy to be able to participate in Mitsuru Adachi's works in my life as a voice actor.
So I will not be carried away, but I will play the role so that I can leave a strong impression of Akai on the audience.

OP Artist Porno Graffitti

Of course, we are also children of Mitsuru Adachi and fans of "MIX".
We are honored to hear that we will be in charge of the opening.
We would be happy if we could leave a little bit of our music in the ears of those who have seen the anime.

■ED Artist Qyoto

About 30 years ago, we were not born in Tatsuya Uesugi's youth.
But when we were little, we were absorbed in "Touch", turning the pages and learning a lot of youth, we never imagined that we, Qyoto, would be involved in the story that continues on.
I am truly honored to be able to run with you at this moment when "MIX" is about to become someone else's youth, transcending generations.
Qyoto vocalist Yuki Nakazono

<Story
The setting is "Meisei Academy", the same as "Touch". About 30 years have passed since the legend of "Uesugi Tatsuya", the main character of "Touch", and now, a fateful brother opens the door to the story....
Due to their parents' remarriage, they became twin brothers with the same birthday, although they are not related by blood. They are two brothers, "Runichiro Tachibana" and "Touma Tachibana," who belong to the baseball team of the Meisei Gakuen Junior High School.
Runichiro plays as a catcher and a batter. Nouma is a third baseman for "one reason or another," but he has a hidden talent for pitching that is beyond the average person. She is the biological sister of Runichiro and is not related to Nouma by blood. Tachibana Otomi, Runichiro's biological sister who is not related to Towa, also enters junior high school, and there is a lot of commotion around the two of them. Will they be able to go on to high school and step on the Koshien pitch?
