Bandolier!" The joint live "Rausch und/and Craziness" of Roselia and RAISE A SUILEN, a real band from Japan, was held at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 4-6 in Chiba, Japan, from November 30 to December 1, 2019. In this issue, we report on DAY 2, which took place on December 1.

DAY 2 featured Aina Aiba (Vo.) playing the role of Yukina Minato from Roselia, Haruka Kudo (Gt.) playing the role of Sayo Hikawa, Yuki Nakajima (Ba.) playing the role of Lisa Imai, Megu Sakuragawa (Dr.) playing the role of Akko Udagawa, Kabaon Shizaki (Key.) playing the role of Rinko Shirogane, and Raychell Raya from RAISE A SUILEN. Raychell (Ba.+Vo.) as Layer, Riko Obara (Gt.) as Rock, Natsume (Dr.) as Masking, Reiho Kurachi (Key) as Paleo, and Risa Boki (DJ) as Tutu. At the end of the live, Aimi-san, playing the role of Kasumi Toyama, made a surprise appearance to announce the special live at the Dome.

In DAY 2, the live development in 2020 was announced: "BanG Dream! Special☆LIVE Girls Band Party! 2020" will be held at the MetLife Dome on May 3, 2020. 3 bands, Poppin'Party, Roselia, and RAISE A SUILEN, as well as Afterglow, will be performing at the event. In addition to Poppin'Party, Roselia, and RAISE A SUILEN, there were Ayane Sakura from Afterglow as Ran Mitake, Ami Maejima from Pastel*Palettes as Aya Maruyama, and Miki Ito from Hello, Happy World! and Miki Ito as Kokoro Tsurumaki from "Hello, Happy World! bands will come together for an all-star live performance.

From the summer of 2020, "BanG Dream! 8th☆LIVE" will be held at Fujikyu Highland Conifer Forest for a 3-day outdoor summer concert from August 21 to 23, 2020, featuring Roselia on Day 1, RAISE A SUILEN on Day 2, and Poppin' Party and Pastel*Party on Day 3. Party and Ami Maejima of Pastel*Palettes with RAISE A SUILEN will perform on Day 3. In addition, Poppin'Party is scheduled to hold a solo live concert in early October 2020, which will be held as "BanG Dream! 8th☆LIVE" together with the outdoor 3-DAYS.

Rausch und/and Craziness" DAY2 started with "Invincible Fighter" by RAISE A SUILEN as they "raised the curtain" by dropping the thin cloth covering the stage. They performed 10 songs including cover songs "Hitorino Yoru" and "Gekido", "Don't be afraid! and Afterglow's "Y.O.L.O". In "Hitorino Yoru", Ms. Raychell showed her high skill in singing songs in high keys with ease. Boki's impressive rap part in "Gekido" was impressive.

RAISE A SUILEN

The band performed two new songs, "DRIVE US CRAZY" and "HELL! or HELL? or HELL?" was impressive with the fusion of the blaring band sound and Mr. Kurachi's flowing keyboards. The rap part was a near twin-vocal performance, with Bohki's tutu voice a true "muso" of the group. Mr. Kohara was so intoxicated that he lay on the stage in a state of total exhaustion. The simple but powerful drum beat that Natsume repeatedly played in the song "Drive Us Crazy" blended with the audience's singing and echoed like the heartbeat of a live performance. In the last song, the band members focused their eyes on Natsume, and their consciousness was united as one for the final song.

Roselia

Roselia's part started with "Legendary. They performed a total of 10 songs including "BRAVE JEWEL", the opening song of the anime "BanG Dream! 2nd Season" and their latest song "FIRE BIRD". The live music videos by the characters and the effective use of anime footage were impressive. Symbolic of this was the song "Determination Symphony," which flowed from "BRAVE JEWEL," which was performed along with the opening image of the anime. The screen showed the scene from episode 9 of the anime "BanG Dream! 2nd Season" in which Saya Hikawa, who had to perform as Roselia at the school festival, asked her sister Hina to use her guitar for her. Haruka Kudo, who was standing on the stage in real life, appeared on stage with a guitar modeled after Hina's and performed on it, which was a very chic performance.

The last song, "FIRE BIRD" from "Hot Color Starmine" reminded me of the solo outdoor live performance this summer. Shizaki's cool and dignified vocals are always fresh and exciting to listen to.

For encore, both bands played "R-I-O-T" and "BLACK SHOUT" together as Roselia x RAISE A SUILEN. Many combinations unique to the collaboration were seen, such as Yuki Nakajima and Raychell playing the bass guitar back to back and Aiba going to Bohki's DJ booth to play with him.

Ms. Raychell and Ms. Aina Aiba

During the interval of the live, the RAS group participated in a variety video (an academic achievement test with a penalty game) full of Roselia's sense of fun, but Raychell, who was so powerful and cool during the live, showed surprisingly high variety skills. The live show showed the further evolution and maturity of both bands after the "BanG Dream! 2nd Season" anime, and the audience can look forward to the "BanG Dream! 3rd Season" anime that will start in January 2020, and the further changes in the real bands that lie ahead.

(The live was a great experience for the audience.)
