The second part of the TV anime "Hon Lover no Gekkoukoujo: I Can't Choose My Means to Become a Librarian," which has been airing since October 2019, will air in the spring of 2020.

The second part of the TV anime "Hon-ki no Gekkoukoujo: I Can't Choose My Means to Become a Librarian" is a light novel by Kouzuki Miya, currently being published by TO Books. The series has sold more than 1 million copies in total and was named "This light novel is amazing!" (Takarajimasya, Inc.) in 2018 and 2019, and was awarded No. 1 (in the book and novels category) for two consecutive years.

A college girl who died just before becoming a librarian wakes up as Mine, a soldier's daughter, in a medieval European-style other world. She wants to read books, but they are a luxury that the average person cannot afford. If you don't have books, make your own! She struggles with an environment that does not go her way, but decides to make use of her knowledge from a previous life to create a "book" with her own hands and presses on toward her dream. This is a Biblia fantasy for book lovers, dedicated to book lovers.

The TV animation version will be directed by Mitsuru Hongo, who has worked on "Crayon Shin-chan," with Yoshiki Kawasaki as assistant director, Mariko Kunisawa as series composition, and Yoshiaki Yanagida and Toshihisa Kaitani as character designers. Animation production will be handled by Asia-do.

In conjunction with this announcement, a teaser visual for the second part was released. It depicts Main (CV. Yuka Iguchi) in a blue priestess costume and Ferdinand (CV. Tadashi Hayami), the chief priest.
