Tama & Friends," which made its debut in 1983, has been anthropomorphized into "Uchi Tama? ~was anthropomorphized into "Uchitama? ~The new series, "Uchi Tama? ~which debuted in 1983, will be anthropomorphized and broadcast on Fuji Television's "Noitamina" and other programs starting in January 2020.

The series debuted in 1983 as "Tama & Friends: Uchitamatama Shiranai ka? ~The "Tama & Friends" group debuted in 1983. You may have seen "Tama," the yellow-eared neighborhood cat with a beak on her forehead, at least once on stationery or in miscellaneous goods.
In 1983, amidst the fancy goods boom among junior high and high school girls, Tama made a sensational debut with astory-like concept of a "poster looking for a pet cat," handwrittencharacters, and subdued colors. It became a hit character.The character was serialized in a school yearbook magazine, made into a movie in 1993, and broadcast as an animated TV series in 1994, and continues to be loved bypeopleof all ages through school textbooks, banks, medicine bags, and other media.
In 2016, the first new animated series in 22 years began airing, and on May 10, 2007, the first theatrical version in 26 years will begin showing.
In addition, the first concept café "Tama & Friends 3-Chome Café" is now open on the 6th floor of Aqua City Odaiba (until March 31, 2020), and the popularity of the character continues unabated.

This time, "Tama & Friends - Don't you know our Tama? ~is now personified into a healing TV animation series "Uchitama? ~The series will be broadcast from January 2020 as "Uchi Tama? ~will be broadcast on Fuji Television Network's "Noitamina" and other TV programs starting in January 2020.


Along with the release of this information, a teaser visual depicting Tama and Pochi, PV and commercials, and cast and staff information were also released, and an official website and Twitter account were also opened.


The main character Tama will be played by Souma Saito, Tama's best friend Pochi by Kensho Ono, and the idol Momo of 3-chome by Kana Hanazawa.
Yusuke Shirai will play Tora, Yuma Uchida will play Bey, Tomoyo Kurosawa will play Koma, Yuki Kaji will play Nora, Yuichiro Umehara will play Kuro, Wataru Hatano will play Gon, and Tomoaki Maeno will play Bull.

The staff was also announced. The animation will be directed by Kiyoshi Matsuda, director of "Gakkegurui-xxx," and the series will be composed by "Crayon Shin-chan Bakumori: Kung Fu Boys -La-La! Kung Fu Boys: Ramen Daeran", character design by Mai Otsuka of "Non no Biyori" series, music by Tom-H@ck of "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai" series, and animation production by MAPPA/Lapin Truck of "Sarazanmai".

A cat kept by the Okamoto family. She is curious and friendly.
Since she gets lost easily, her owner Takeshi-kun puts up a poster with her portrait on it. His distinctive feature is his crocheted tail.


Yamada Pochi (CV: Kensho Ono)

Severe worrier.
A dog kept at a tofu shop with a pure white body. He is Tama's best friend and is very gentle, but has a timid side.
