Bandai has a lot of interesting toys including Nu Gundam, Rider, Sentai, and more!

Tokyo Toy Show 2019, the largest toy exhibition in Japan, is being held from June 13-16, 2019.

The 13th and 14th are business fair days. This year's show is scheduled to open to the public on June 15 and 16.
The first day, the 13th, was extremely crowded with people from the toy industry, buyers, and press from Japan and abroad.

Akiba Research Institute participated in the first day of the trade fair. We were able to get a first-hand look at some of the latest items of interest. Let's take a look at each manufacturer.

In this first installment, we start with Bandai, the largest company in the toy industry!

The most notable item was the "METAL STRUCTURE RX-93 ν Gundam" from the new Kaitai Takumi Kiki brand, which pursues a level of realism that exceeds that of the anime. The quality of the product is superb.
Many visitors stopped to admire the exquisite detail.

In addition, plastic model products and figures such as Gundam plastic models, "Figure-rise" series, and the ever-popular "Danboard Senki" were lined up.

Many new items to be released in the summer, including the new robot "Xyryu Neptune" from the critically acclaimed tokusatsu series "Knight Ryu Sentai Ryuso Jar" were on display. Employees also appeared in cosplay, full of enthusiasm!

Transformation item "Taiga Spark" from the new "Ultraman Taiga" was on display.

The "Masked Rider Zioh" corner displayed all of the Heisei Rider belts as well as all of the ride watches that have been released to date! It is a highlight of the exhibition.

From "Twinkle Star Pretty Cure," the transformation item "Rainbow Perfume" for the new character Cure Cosmo. The Rainbow Perfume emits light when the item is opened in a circular motion!

The latest "YOKAI WATCH" game, "YOKAI WATCH 4," is also on the way. It seems that new items will be introduced in conjunction with the development of the anime.
