The "Demon King, Retry! is a light novel by Kuroon Kanzaki that has been published on the online novel submission site "Shosetsu-kaerou," with a total PV of over 63 million. A popular work that won the Gold Prize at the 5th Internet Novel Award, it is a fantasy about a normal working man who is mistakenly believed to be a normal person on the inside while he appears to be a Demon King.
Currently published by Monster Bunko (published by Futabasha), the series is also being published as comics under the Bunko's comic book label, Monster Comics. A new edition was released by M Novels (Futabasha) on October 22, 2018. The new edition includes the TV anime "Hanebado!
