METAL STRUCTURE Disassembled Designer Machine RX-93 ν Gundam" from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char of the Counterattack" to be released in 12 countries and regions worldwide in December.

From "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char of the Counterattack," it was announced that the METAL STRUCTURE Disassembled Takumi Kikai RX-93 ν Gundam will be released sequentially in 12 countries and regions worldwide starting in December 2019.

BANDAI SPIRITS will release the "RX-93 ν Gundam," the main character MS (Mobile Suit) that appeared in "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack," the first original theatrical work in the Gundam series that was released in March 1988, as a "real" model that is more realistic than the anime depicted in the film. The finished model "METAL STRUCTURE Dismantled Takumi Kiki RX-93 ν Gundam" (93,000 yen, excluding tax), which pursues the realism and gimmicks of the mechanical expression that is more realistic than the anime depicts, will be sequentially released in Japan and 12 countries and regions around the world starting in December 2019. This product will be released in Japan and 12 countries and regions around the world starting in December 2019.

This product consists of approximately 2,000 parts and is an ultra-precise finished model of approximately 370mm in height, which is based on the image of the "real thing" down to the internal structure. While ABS resin with a sharp, hard feel is used as the main material, die-cast and etched metal parts and soft resin are used for some parts of the internal structure to reproduce a texture reminiscent of a real mechanism.

In addition, the coloring and markings throughout the entire body are designed to resemble those of a real mecha. An armor deployment gimmick is built into each part, allowing the figure to be opened and closed in stages, such as in the fully operational state during battle, or in the fully open hatch state during maintenance. In addition, a light-emitting gimmick built into the body and pedestal allows the figure to enjoy a mechanical feel.

Each joint has a built-in movable gimmick, allowing the figure to be played with as an action figure and to be posed in various ways, making it the largest scale product in the history of finished robot products developed under the "TAMASHII NATIONS" adult collector's product brand.

Pre-orders will be accepted from June 13, 2019 (Thu) at hobby stores, toy stores, hobby and toy sections of electronics and mass merchandisers nationwide, and online retailers.

The actual product will be on display at the Kaitai Takumi Kiki booth in the Bandai/BANDAI SPIRITS booth at the Tokyo Toy Show 2019, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 13 (Thu.) to 16 (Sun.), so be sure to visit the booth.
