The third key visual of the critically acclaimed "Rise of the Shield Hero", Larkberg and Naofumi Iwatani, the shield hero, cross paths!

The third key visual for theTV anime "TheRise of the Shield's Hero," which has been airing since January 9, 2019,has been released.

The "Rise of the Shield's Hero" was first published on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-ka Yusha no Yusha no Rise" (Novelist's Letter) and then published in book form by MF Books (KADOKAWA) in 2013. It is a popular light novel by Aneko Yusagi, currently in its 20th volume.
Iwatani Naofumi is an otaku college student who is summoned to another world as one of the heroes. He sets out on a journey to train to protect the world, but is betrayed by his friends within a few days. This is a fantasy about a man who loses everything, including his money and position, and rises to the top.
The animation production staff includes Takao Abo as director, Keigo Koyanagi as series composition, Masahiro Suwa as character design and chief animation director, Hiroki Gobun as sound director, and Kevin Penkin as music. Animation production will be handled by Kinema Citrus.
