Comments from the main cast and staff have also arrived. The following are the comments from the main cast and staff.

Megumi Ban / Playing the role of Shuri Yamamoto
I am truly honored to be involved in the worldview depicted by Sakisaka-sensei. In the special report, the monologue that appeared many times in the original story was spun by Yuna, Shuri, Rio, and Kazuomi with delicate and emotional images and music, which was very impressive. The title also lingered in each word...I felt it was something that was growing on me.
I will carefully nurture Shuri's thoughts and feelings.

Marika Suzuki / Playing the role of Yuna Ichihara
I have loved Ms. Sakisaka's works since I was in elementary school. When I heard that I was chosen to play the role of Yuna, I was both happy and anxious at the same time, but I wanted to make the work better by playing the role.
Yuna is a pure and self-confident girl, but she has a strong core. I would like to play the role with an awareness of the changes in Yuna as she meets Shuri and Rio and grows more and more.

Nobunaga Shimazaki as Rio Yamamoto
When I read the original story, I thought it was a very nice human drama. During the recording of the special report, I was asked to play a role that emphasizes the human side of Rio, rather than her attributes, which made me happy. I am really looking forward to the time I will spend acting with everyone in the film.

Souma Saito / Playing the role of Kazuomi Inui
I read the original story before I auditioned for the role, and I was so interested in the story that I read it in one sitting. It really is a wonderful work, isn't it? I am very much looking forward to seeing how this original story will be expressed in the anime movie. Thank you very much for your cooperation!

Toshimasa Kuroyanagi / Director
A longing for the honest encounters of youth. When you fall in love and meet someone more important than yourself, the world that was previously yours alone seems to expand infinitely, and you feel as if you can reach a future that you have grown taller and taller. Yuna, Shuri, and the others, who are running through the "present" as fast as they can, dazzle me. I wondered how I could express that pure brilliance in an anime. I would like to deliver such a work that adds color to peaceful days.

Erika Yoshida/Screenplay
I have always read Ms. Sakisaka's works, so I was honestly happy to be given the opportunity to write the script.
The characters that she portrays are realistic and their emotions are never false. The good and bad parts of the characters are carefully spun into a story that gently touches the reader and sinks deeply into their hearts. Without forgetting such Sakisaka-ism, I wrote the script with sincerity to the original work. I hope you will enjoy the delicate worldview of Sakisaka's works, which can only be expressed in anime. I too cannot wait for next spring!

Yuji Nomi/Music
It was fun to be able to put sound to the movement of feelings. Yuna and Shuri each have completely different inner preoccupations, which cast a shadow over the story and give it a depth that makes it more than just a love story. I made it so that when they touch on these things, it becomes the kryptonite point where their emotions rise, and it also becomes a place where the music can be heard.

Io Sakisaka/Original Story
When I heard the voices of the decided cast members, I thought, "They finally let me hear their voices! They all sounded like this!" I was filled with joy as if I could see a new side of the characters I had created. I am so excited to think that he will show us more of this in the movie that my heart is about to burst out of my mouth. I am also very grateful to the director, Toshimasa Kuroyanagi, and the screenwriter, Erika Yoshida, for their careful and patient support in trying to capture the "rawness" that I value in the film to the fullest!

Special Report & Teaser Visual Unleashed!

The special video clip shows the characters wavering between their true, life-sized feelings and their desire not to hurt others, and the delicate images depict their emotions.

The teaser visual depicts Rio staring at something with a melancholy expression, Kazuomi gazing into the distance from the rooftop, and Shuri and Yuna looking back at us under the beautiful cherry blossoms.
