Report on the advance screening of the TV anime "Jeweler Mr. Richard's Mystery Appraisal" has arrived! Takahiro Sakurai and Yuma Uchida take the stage!

An advance screening of the TV anime "Jeweler Richard's Mystery Appraisal," scheduled to begin airing in January 2020, was held on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the Edogawa Ward Cultural Center Main Hall, with Takahiro Sakurai (playing Richard Ranasinghe Dovrpian) and Yuma Uchida (playing Masayoshi Nakata) on stage.

Jeweler Richard's Mystery Appraisal" is a jewelry mystery book written by Nanako Tsujimura and illustrated by Utako Yukihiro (character designer for "B-PROJECT" and others). The latest nine volumes have been published by Shueisha Orange Bunko, and the total number of copies sold has exceeded 600,000. The work depicts a beautiful jeweler, Richard Ranasinghe Dovrupian, and a university student, Seigi Nakata, who has a bright and straightforward personality, as they unravel the messages hidden in jewels.

The TV anime version, which will start in January, will be directed by "One Week Friends" and "Amazu to Inazuma. and "Amazu to Inazuma" will direct the TV anime version, with Mariko Kunisawa writing the script and Mariko Kunisawa and Utako Yukihiro drafting the characters. Animation production will be handled by Mariko Kunisawa, who is known for "Natsume Yuujinchou," "Durarara! and "91days".

An advance screening event of the TV anime "Jeweler Richard's Mystery Appraisal," which is scheduled to air from January 2020, was held, with Takahiro Sakurai, who plays the beautiful jeweler Richard Ranasinghe Dovrupian, and Yuma Uchida, who plays Nakata Seigi, a college student with a strong sense of justice, on stage.

During the daytime session, the cast appeared on stage after the main program was screened. One night, Masayoshi Nakata, a college student with a strong sense of justice, rescues a handsome foreigner, Richard, from a drunken brawl. Knowing that he is a jeweler, he asks Richard to identify a ring that his grandmother had hidden until her death, which is said to have had a legendary meaning. Richard's examination reveals her past, the truth, and her feelings.
This leads Masayoshi to work part-time at "Jewelry Etranger," a jewelry store in Ginza owned by Richard. The relationship between Richard and Masayoshi changes little by little as they unravel the various "mysteries" that are brought to Etranger on a daily basis. However, they each have a secret that they will not reveal to anyone.
