THE RAMPAGE and FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE will be the theme song artists for the Mobile Suit Gundam 40th Anniversary Project!

The artist who will sing the theme song of "Mobile Suit Gundam 40th Anniversary Project" has been decided. The project PV has also been released.

The "Mobile Suit Gundam 40th Anniversary Project" commemorates the 40th anniversary of "Mobile Suit Gundam" this year. As part of the project, "KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN" led by Kiyoyuki Okuyama, an industrial designer, is currently working on a project to visualize Gundam. The name of the project is "Gundam x KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN x LDH JAPAN "G40 Project" in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam" ("G40 Project").

Theartists who will sing the theme song for the G40 Project are "THE RAMPAGE", who made their major debut in 2017 with the single "Lightning", and "FANTASTICS", who made their major debut in 2018 with the single "OVER DRIVE THE RAMPAGE's "SHOW YOU THE WAY" and FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE's "TO THE SKY" are inspired by Shia and Amuro respectively.

Project PV release
In addition, two project PVs have been released, in which you can listen to the songs: the heroic figure of Gundam and Amuro in the "Federation" PV, and the activities of Char and Char's Zaku II in the "Zeon" PV, with new visuals and expressions by "KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN". The "Zeon version" shows the exploits of Char and Char's Zaku II.

The plastic model of the Gundam appearing in this PV will be released as "HG Gundam G40 (Industrial Design Ver.)" on December 14, 2019 (Saturday).
