Namco Bandai Entertainment Inc. has announced that "SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris" for PlayStation 4/Xbox One/Steam will be released on May 21, 2020. The company announced that the release date has been set for May 21, 2020 (Thursday). The company also began accepting pre-orders for PlayStation 4/Xbox One (download-only version) today, December 9, 2019 (Monday).

Sword Art Online" is an anime work based on the novel by Reki Kawahara, winner of the 15th Dengeki Novel Award (Grand Prize). From October 12, 2019, the latest in the series, " SWORD ART ONLINE ARISATION: War of Underworld," will be on air.
