The OP theme and ED theme for the TV anime "Jibaku Shonen Hanako-kun" scheduled to air from January 9, 2020 have been determined. In addition, the second PV and additional cast information have been released.

Jishibai Shonen Hanako-kun" is a popular comic currently serialized in the monthly "G Fantasy" magazine by Aida Iro. There is a strange rumor that has been passed down in Kamome Gakuen. It is said that there is a "Hanako-kun" in the third girls' restroom on the third floor of the old school building, and that he will grant any wish to anyone who calls him. In this heartwarming lavatory comedy, Yahiro Nene, an occult girl who loves spells, surrenders herself to a school ghost story in order to make her wish come true.

Directed by "Gakkou Gurashi! My name is Yuma Uchida, and I will be playing the voice of Akira Minamoto! I was able to read "Hanako-kun, a boy who is tied to the earth" for the first time at the audition and was able to read it without being scared because of the delicate touch and pop colors used to depict the eerie presence of a monster. The story has a comical tempo, so I am looking forward to the dialogue! Teru, who I will be voicing, is Hikaru's older brother. He is usually kind and cool to everyone, and is Hikaru's pride and admiration. I hope I can portray him well as a dependable older brother.
I hope that you will enjoy the suspiciously cute "Hanako-kun, the Jibaku Shonen Hanako-kun" animation.

My name is Minako Sato, and I will be playing the role of Aoi Akane! When I was first told that I was accepted as Aoi Akane, I could not believe it at all and my mind went blank. I love Aoi, who is the most popular girl in the school and cute from all angles, as much as Akane-kun, and I would like to play her as well! It was my first time to act in an anime, and I was filled with anxiety and nervousness, but with the help of the kind-hearted cast members and production staff, I have been challenging myself to do postrecording every week.
