Resident Evil RE: 3, a remake of Resident Evil 3 LAST ESCAPE, will be released on Friday, April 3, 2020!

Capcom Co. announced that "Resident Evil RE: 3" will be released on Friday, April 3, 2020.

Resident Evil RE: 3" is a remake of Capcom's 1999 PlayStation title "Resident Evil 3 LAST ESCAPE".

The title also includes "Project Resistance" (now called "Resident Evil Resistance"), which was released as a 4-on-1 asymmetrical multiplayer game, allowing players to enjoy a competitive survival horror game in which they must survive from extreme conditions.

In conjunction with the release announcement, a promotional video was also released. The main character, Jill Valentine, can be seen in the video.

＜STORY>
Raccoon City is located in the Midwestern United States. The daily life of the city is about to be disrupted by the pharmaceutical company, Umbrella Corporation.
S.T.A.R.S., a special police unit, is the first to notice something unusual. The truth behind the disappearances in a Western-style house in the Arklay Mountains is a biological disaster (Resident Evil) caused by a leak of the t-virus, a biological weapon, and the S.T.A.R.S. unit that goes to investigate is decimated.
The few remaining S.T.A.R.S. personnel discover that the Umbrella Corporation is the cause of the incident. However, in Raccoon City, which has developed under the influence of the Umbrella Corporation, even the police force is controlled by the Umbrella Corporation, and their accusations are suppressed.
The city begins to mutate into a "cannibalistic disease" and violent wild dogs begin to roam the streets. The countdown to the critical point is underway, unbeknownst to the public.

＜Jill Valentine
is a member of the Raccoon City Police Department's Special Forces S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team and is responsible for rear security. She received combat training in the Delta Force and was an excellent team member who excelled at lock-picking and explosive disposal, taking advantage of her manual dexterity.
However, when the unit visited a Western-style house in the suburbs to investigate a missing persons case, it was attacked by the dead and monsters, and destroyed, leaving her and a few others behind.
The enemies she encountered were all created by the t-virus, and she survived and continued her own investigation to prosecute the virus developer, Umbrella Corporation.
However, she was suddenly ordered by upper management to stay at home, and under constant surveillance day and night, she decided to escape.
With the investigative materials at hand, she would be able to tell the world about the Umbrella Corporation's wrongdoings. But Jill doesn't know yet. But what Jill doesn't know is that the most powerful emissary has already been unleashed to make it all go away.
