From the legendary OVA "Gensyu Senki Leda" comes a 1/7th scale figure of the main character, Yoko Asagiri!

TOHO animation STORE" will begin releasing a Blu-ray BOX <4K remaster> of the OVA "Gensen Senki Reda" produced in 1985 on June 19, 2019 (Wednesday). To commemorate this event, the company announced that a 1/7 scale figure of the main character, Yoko Asagiri, will be released on December 21, 2019 (Saturday) in a completely limited quantity, with pre-orders beginning at midnight on Wednesday, June 19, 2019.

Gensen Senki Reda" is a legendary anime work released in 1985, at the dawn of the OVA era. The character design and animation direction was done by Mutsumi Inomata, known for her work on the "Tales of" series, as well as by Kunihiko Yuyama, director of the "Pokemon" series, and music by Shiro Sagisu, director of the "Evangelion" series. In addition, many up-and-coming and talented animators of the time participated in the production, and the work was much talked about for its high quality for an OVA. Yoko Asagiri, the main character in the "Leda" series, has been brought back to life as a realistic 1/7th scale figure!

Yoko, with her sidetail fluttering, wields her sword with a dignified expression. The legendary OVA "Leda: The Legend of Dreams" tells the story of Yoko Asagiri, who is suddenly transported to another world, Ashanti, and must confront a great evil as the "Warrior of Leda". The figure, based on a scene from the series, features Yoko in a dynamic pose and is the work of character designer and animation director Mutsumi Inomata. The figure is approximately 264mm in length and comes in 1/7th scale with a diorama base based on the ruined "Temple of Leda".

The coloring prototype of the figure will be on display at the "Leda Exhibition" (free admission) to be held at Shibuya Marui's 7F event space from June 19 (Wed.) to 30 (Sun.), 2019. Please be sure to check it out as well.
