TV anime "Assassin's Pride" will start airing in Fall 2019! The main cast includes Tomoki Ono, Tomori Kusunoki, and Yui Ishikawa

The TV anime "Assassin's Pride," which was scheduled to air in 2019, will begin airing in the fall of 2019. The main cast and main staff were also announced.

Assassin's Pride" is a light novel by Kei Amagi. It has been published by Fantasia Bunko (KADOAKWA) since January 2016 and is a popular work that has sold a total of 400,000 copies. The illustrations are by Ninomoto Nino. It is a fantasy work in which the main character, Kufa-Van Peele, confronts her secret missions and her own destiny together with Merida-Angel, a girl born into a ducal family but giftless.

The voice actors who will portray the four main characters have been announced. The main character, Kufa-Vampeer, will be played by Tomoki Ono, well-known for his role as Taiga Hijin in "Kuroko no Basketball. Merida-Angel will be played by Tomori Kusunoki, who played Ren (Karen Obirimaki) in "Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online. Elise-Angel will be played by Yui Ishikawa, known for her role as Mikasa Ackermann in "Shinkage no Kyojin," and Rosetti Prickett will be played by Marina Yabuuchi.

The main staff members were also announced. The film will be directed by Kazuya Aiura, who will be making his directorial debut. The screenplay will be written by veteran writer Deko Akao, and the character design and chief animation director will be Maho Yoshikawa, who has worked on a number of well-known works including "Sword Dance. I have had many opportunities to play girls who don't show much emotion, but I have rarely played a slim and pretty type like Elise, and even though I wanted to play her, I was afraid that I wouldn't get the part. So I was very happy when I got the call that I had been chosen, and I am now looking forward to playing the role!
