Main Casts for "New Sakura Taisen the Stage" Announced! The main character, Sakura Amamiya, will be played by Yuna Sekine

Sega Games, Inc. today announced the main cast members who will play the "Teikoku Kagekidan, Hanagumi" for "New Sakura Wars the Stage," a stage adaptation of the PlayStation 4 software "New Sakura Wars," which will be released today, December 12, 2019. It has also been decided that the performance will take place at Sogetsu Hall in Tokyo from March 5 (Thu.) to 8 (Sun.), 2020!

Shin Sakura Taisen the Stage" is a stage adaptation of the PS4 game "Shin Sakura Taisen". The main character, Sakura Amamiya, will be played by Yuna Sekine, a former member of Cheeky Parade who gave a great performance in the stage productions "Mirai Densha" and "Kamigami no Tamagami". The new main cast includes Rina Takahashi as Hatsuho Shinonome, Yui Kantake as Azami Mochizuki, Juri Hirayu as Anastasia Palma, and Natsume Oki as Clarice.

The stage of the game "New Sakura Taisen" will be released in December 2019 and will be performed in March 2020.
This will be the first official "Sakura Taisen" stage performance in six years, since the string star group's performance in 2014.

In this stage, the characters will not be played by the voice actors themselves as in the previous Sakura Song Show, but by stage actors selected through auditions.

The five actors selected for this year's audition had outstanding acting and singing skills, as well as a visual quality that made it seem as if the new Hanagumi was really there.

Ms. Sekine, who played Sakura, had a wealth of experience and charisma at such a young age, giving the impression of being cute yet firm, and Ms. Takahashi, who played Hatsuho, shone brightly just by being there. Ms. Hirayu, who played the role of Anastasia, is a Takarazuka native, and everyone agreed that she was "the real Anna." Ms. Kantake, who played the role of Azami, performed her role perfectly with movement and lines during the audition (even though the only information we had was the script), and Ms. Oki, who played Clarice, had a sense of purity and inner strength that was She played the role of Clarice with movement and lines.
