Which one goes down? Summer Anime "My Stepmother's Stepdaughter Was My Ex-Girlfriend" Episode 1 Synopsis & Preview! Starts airing on July 6 (Wed.)

The first episode of the TV anime "My Stepmother's Stepdaughter Was My Ex-Girlfriend," which will begin airing on July 6 (Wed.), has been released with a synopsis and preview video.

The story is based on "My Stepmother's Stepdaughter Was My Ex-Girlfriend" (Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko) by Kyosuke Kamishiro, which won the grand prize in the 3rd Kakuyom Web Novel Contest 《Love Comedy Category》. The story depicts the relationship between Mizuto and Yume, two former lovers from junior high school who have become "siblings" in law, who have decided on a rule of "not being conscious" of each other, but their relationship is shaken by their relationship.

The TV anime will start airing on AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS Nichtele, BS Fuji, and MBS on July 6, 2022 (Wed.), and will be distributed exclusively and preceded by terrestrial broadcasting on ABEMA. The synopsis and trailer for the first episode have been released.
You can listen to the dialogue between the characters, which was newly written by Mr. Kamishiro.

Mizuto and Yume are former lovers who have become "siblings" in law. What is important to them is not to worry about their remarried parents. And which one of them will be the "older brother" or "older sister"?
Not wanting to be the other's "underling," the two decide on a rule that "the one who says or does something uncharacteristic of a stepbrother or sister is the younger sibling," and they devise a plan for each other. ......!?
