AbemaTV GUNDAM 40th Hour" will be newly established on "Minnano Anime Channel" of "AbemaTV," which will sequentially distribute 11 Gundam series for free every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday from 9 pm.

The "Gundam" series is a popular series including the TV animation "Mobile Suit Gundam" that began broadcasting in 1979. Mobile Suit Gundam" is set in the "Space Century," a time when mankind has advanced into space, and tells the story of the main character, Amuro Ray, who is caught up in the war between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon.
Various other works, including the OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08MS Platoon," set on Earth during the same period of "Mobile Suit Gundam," have been released and have created a worldwide fan base of enthusiastic fans.

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Gundam, "AbemaTV GUNDAM", a "free internet TV station", will start distributing 11 Gundam series for free every Saturday, Sunday and holiday from 9 p.m. on "Minnano Anime Channel". AbemaTV GUNDAM 40th Hour" will be newly established to distribute 11 Gundam series for free every Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9:00 p.m..

As the first part of the lineup, "Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Platoon" and "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin VI" will be distributed for the first time on "AbemaTV" as well as other space century series.
On the first day, Saturday, June 22, 2019, at 9 p.m., episodes 1-8 of the memorable "Mobile Suit Gundam" will be distributed.

The second lineup will be announced around July, so please look forward to it every week.
