I would like to check the comfort of using 10mm thickness with actual parts. First, a simple alignment eraser for a scale model.

I lightly sanded in the order of 240, 400, and 600, and was able to easily remove them thanks to the thick sponge!

By the way, it is printed with ink that does not bleed easily, so it can be used for water grinding. Those who want to sharpen with a grueling work will not have to worry!

Next, I would like to clean up and mold the areas where I filled in the gaps with lacquer putty.

I scraped in the order of 120, 240, and 400, assuming that I would finish with a glossy finish.

It adhered to the parts moderately well, so I did not shave too much, and the parts turned out beautifully! Incidentally, when the cutting ability is reduced due to shavings, scrubbing with a toothbrush or various sponges will quickly restore it to its original state!

With ordinary paper files, the grain often clogs up quickly and they become useless, but you don't have to worry about that with the Kami File! you don't have to worry about that. You can clean it regularly by removing the shavings!

Now, let's try to surface the carapace. Since this is an old kit, the surface has some light cracking and mussiness.

To make sure I could reach the gaps, I machined the shape myself and polished it carefully in the order of 400, 600, 800, and then 1000!

Yes, the surface was prepared nicely! If you want to make a shiny finish on a carapace, the key is to polish it well like this!
