The second season of "Unemployed Tensei" TV anime will be broadcast in 2023! Teaser PV released!

The second season of the TV anime "Unemployed Tensei" "Unemployed Tensei II: Isekai Ikaeru de Honkidasu" will be broadcast in 2023. A teaser PV has been released.

A 34-year-old unemployed man who has been a recluse since an incident during his school days is kicked out of his home by his family and dies in a car accident shortly afterwards, but is reborn as a boy named Rudeus in a different world of swords and magic. The story depicts his grand adventure and how he tries to live seriously this time with the knowledge and regrets from his previous life.

In the first season aired in 2009, the drama unfolded with various friends including Roxy, a master of magic, Sylphiette, a childhood friend, Eris, a ferocious young lady, and Ruijerd, a warrior of the Speld tribe, and their epic journey across countries from their peaceful birthplace to the harsh Devil Continent. In the 23rd and final episode, Rudeus, who has been left all alone and withdrawn as in his previous life, is inspired to start walking again in order to find his mother Zenith, who has gone missing due to a "transition incident.

The decision to produce a second season was announced in March of this year, but it was finally announced that it would be broadcast in 2023 and that the title would be "Unemployed Tensei II: Isekai de Iureru Honkishimasu" (無職転生 Ⅱ: Isekai de Iureru Honkishimasu).

The teaser PV shows Rudeus and a number of other characters who are expected to appear in the second season. The battle scenes and drama scenes of these characters give us a preview of the epic adventures of Rudeus that will unfold in the second season of the series.
