A mere soccer...TV anime "Aoshi" episode 14 synopsis & advance scene cuts revealed! Broadcast on Saturdays on NHK E-television

Aoashi," a TV animation currently airing on NHK E-television, has released a synopsis and advance scene cuts for episode 14.

Based on the popular manga by Yugo Kobayashi, which is serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" and won the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general-interest category. The TV anime is produced by Production I.G, which also produces "Kuroko no Basket", and directed by Yoh Satou.

The synopsis and advance cuts are as follows.
Episode 14 "It's Only Soccer
Asito is told by Fukuda that he will become a defender. His teammates, who were suspicious when they did not see Asito at the announcement of the A team members, are upset when they learn the details.
Tachibana, Otomo, Togashi, Kuroda, and Asari set out to look for Asito, but they cannot find him. Asito is alone at the bus stop, nodding his head, when Hana appears.

A junior high school student living in Ehime, Aoi Ashito is the ace of a weak soccer team.
On the day the team loses its final junior high school tournament, Asito is running on the beach to vent his frustration when he meets a man watching the game.

That man - Tatsuya Fukuda - was the manager of the youth team of Tokyo City Esperion FC, one of the leading clubs in the J-League, which trains high school students.

Fukuda sees unlimited potential in Asito, a youngster with a special talent, and begins to talk about his own ambitions.

I have an ambition. I want to take over the world with the club I have built. It is not a stepping stone to the world. My club is the world. The one thing that will carry all of my ambitions is the youth development program."
