Ubisoft to Release Open-World Pirate Action "Skull and Bones" in November! Gameplay Trailer Released!

Ubisoft, creator of "Assassin's Creed" and "Rainbow Six," has announced the release of the pirate action adventure "Skull and Bones.

The game, an open-world multiplayer game with survival elements, is being developed for PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X|S/Windows PC (Epic Games Store/Ubisoft Store) and supports cross-play and cross-progression, Cross-play and cross-progression are supported.


Skull and Bones is set in the Indian Ocean at the end of the 17th century, during one of the most turbulent periods in history. This was the Golden Age of Piracy in the Indian Ocean, a time when chaos and ruthlessness reigned as rival powers, powerful trading houses, and empires vying for supremacy fought for new concessions in an uncharted paradise.

Inspired by pirate legends, this title allows players to experience life as a real pirate. Whether you make contracts, gather supplies, sail important trade routes, or attack merchant ships, your choices are reflected in the various risks and rewards you face. As players build their "notoriety," they can craft and customize their fleet and unlock a wide variety of in-game items.


Players can expand their empire with up to two friends or players they meet at sea, or turn on PvP mode to test their mettle against a variety of bigwigs, powerful trading houses, regional powers, or rival pirates.
Regular free updates with new content, storylines, and challenges will be available for several years after launch.
