The popular battle royale game "KNIVES OUT," developed and operated by NetEase Games, launched its fifth event in collaboration with "Evangelion" today, July 18, 2022.

KNIVES OUT" is a battle royale game developed and operated by NetEase Games, in which 100 players land on a deserted island and battle it out until the last man is left standing. In addition to fighting randomly matched people, players can also fight together with friends.

This is the fifth collaboration between "KNIVES OUT" and "Evangelion.
This time, many new collaborative items from the popular movie "Shin Evangelion the Movie," which was released last year and became the number one box office hit in Japan in 2021, will be available.

Of particular note are the costumes reproducing Shikinami Asuka Langley and Ayanami Rei. In addition to wearing the white plug suits depicted in the movie, Asuka's eye patch over her left eye and Ayanami's long hair have been faithfully reproduced. The world of "Shin Evangelion: The Movie" is now coming back to the wilderness.

Also included in the lineup is a costume that recreates the runaway state of Evangelion's first plane, which appeared in "Evangelion: The Last Airbender". In addition, vehicle skins and firearm skins with designs that overflow with the frenzied nature of the runaway state are also available. The appearance and effects of these skins change as they level up.

In the new collaboration mode, "Descending the First AAA Wunder," AAA Wunder stays above the wilderness when the game starts. Players can board the AAA Wunder through fixed teleportation points on the map and pick up abundant combat resources. However, the player does not only gain combat resources. Players can board the Evangelion inside the AAA Wunder and return to the wilderness to continue playing.

In addition, the collaboration map will feature the sealed pillar (commonly known as the "Seal Pillar") from "Shin Evangelion the Movie". Please come and see for yourself where in the Wilderness Continent it will be recreated.

Special events will be held only during the collaboration period!

There will be a 7-day log-in bonus event that will reward players with a collaboration gacha, a Team Evangelion platoon event in which players will join forces with friends to challenge battle missions, a mini-game event designed in the style of Evangelion, and many other in-game events.
